October 21st – AI & Environment Networking Breakfast

Come share croissants and insights around how different organizations adress the nexus of AI and environmental sustainability !

The French Ministry of Environment is inviting Members of the Sustainable AI Coalition, friends and entities interested in joining, to a special breakfast at Station F on October 21st at 8:30AM. This breakfast will be held before the formal opening of the annual French Greentech Meet’up.

This breakfast is a unique opportunity to discuss in-person the opportunities of AI for our environmental goals.

Agenda:

  • 8am-8:30am: Welcome & Croissants
  • 8-30am-8-40am: Introductions & Coalition updates
  • 8:40am-9am: AI & oceans: what are the opportunities and challenges? – Presentation by Waves of Change followed by Q&A
  • 9am-9:20am:  Environmental reporting for AI systems & LCA – Presentation by Mistral AI followed by Q&A
  • 9:20am-10am: Networking (and opportunity to attend Ministers’ Introduction of the Meet-Up Greentech)

Participants who register for this event will have access to the full event of the Meet-Up Greentech and will have the possibility to meet with startups present at the event and attend other sessions on 21st and 22nd of October, including:

  • 10am: Keynotes by Sylvain WASERMAN, President of ADEME, the French Agency for the Environment, and Béatrice KOSOWSKI, President of IBM France On October 21st, on AI for climate action
  • 2:15pm, a roundtable on AI & risks: better predict to better adapt our economy to a changing climate, with Nicolas TRIFT, Director of Strategy at Météo France, Aldrick ZAPPELLINI, Director Data & IA at Crédit Agricole, Etienne GRASS, Global Chief AI Officer at Capgemini Invent
  • 3:40pm, a workshop on How to engage in Frugal AI ?
