Following the Paris AI Summit, the Indian government will host the 2026 AI Impact Summit in New Delhi on February 19 and 20.
The AI Impact Summit will focus on tangible outcome, global collaboration and the responsible deployment of AI at scale, with the Summit envisioning a future where AI delivers real impact, advances inclusive growth, social development and a healthier planet.
The AI Impact Summit in India could thus lead to significant progress in managing the environmental footprint of AI and directing it toward sustainable uses. The Coalition, whose India is a founding supporter, is fully committed to this objective.
To prepare for this international event, the Indian government is holding public consultations to gather inputs from all citizens and stakeholders.
This consultation is additional to the stakeholders round of consultations which took place earlier in June.
