IEA

IRENA

The International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) works on AI through the lense of its impacts on and interactions with the energy system with a focus on renewable energy

ITU

The International telecommunication Union (ITU) provides a neutral platform for all stakeholders to build a common understanding of the capabilities of AI technologies, facilitating trusted, safe and inclusive development of AI technologies, and equitable access to their benefits.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

OECD

The Organization for Economic Cooperation and Developement (OECD) promote an use of AI that is innovative and trustworthy and that respects human rights and democratic values.

UNCC

The UN Climate Change (UNCC) works on the Technology Executive Committee is in charge of reflecting on AI for climate solutions and of its impact on climate.

ODET

The UN Office for Digital and Emerging Technologies (formerly UN tech Envoy Office) (ODET) works on ODET acts across five strategic areas to act as the UN’s lead on digital cooperation, fostering inclusive policy dialogue, advising leadership on tech trends, coordinating system-wide efforts, and supporting the Global Digital Compact, including AI governance.

The UN trade and Development (UNCTAD) promotes inclusive and sustainable development by helping countries harness trade, investment, and technology for economic growth. It advocates for equitable access to digital tools, including AI, and supports global cooperation to bridge the digital divide.

GPAI

The Global Partnership on Artificial Intelligence (GPAI) is an international initiative promoting responsible, human-centered AI. It unites governments, industry, and academia to advance trustworthy AI and support global development goals.

GDA

The Global Digital Alliance (GDA) is an international coalition dedicated to advancing digital inclusion and bridging the digital divide. It focuses on fostering collaboration among governments, civil society, and the private sector to promote equitable access to digital technologies and ensure their benefits are widely shared.

CODES

CODES is a global alliance promoting sustainable digital technologies. Co-led by UNEP and partners, it supports responsible tech for sustainable development. Its D4CE initiative uses digital tools to advance circular economies.

WEF

The World Economic Forum (WEF) is an international organization that brings together leaders to address global challenges, including AI governance. It promotes responsible AI development through multistakeholder initiatives and publishes frameworks guiding ethical, inclusive, and resilient AI use.
